Itinerary


Depending on the season, records of recent game sightings and the group’s preferences, we follow a fairly standard route. This either begins in Maun, Botswana, finishing ten days later at Victoria Falls, or the other way round. You choose!

Maun-Victoria Falls
Day 1 Fly in from Johannesburg International Airport to Maun, gateway to the Okavango Delta. Transport to the lodge, where you spend the first night.
Day 2 Drive from Maun to the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, and on to the Xakanaxa Lagoons to make camp.
Day 3 Dawn game drive through Moremi, boat cruise up the Okavango River (with optional fishing), late afternoon game drive then return to camp. Day 4 Drive north towards the Moremi north gate. Afternoon game drive and camp. Day 5 Dawn game drive in Moremi, then head north to Chobe Game Reserve and Savuti Marsh to the Savuti Camp.	Okavango boat cruise viewing elephant
	Day 6 Game drive through the marshlands of Savuti to camp.
Day 7 Drive north to the Chobe River and the riverbank Serondela camp.
Day 8 Dawn game drive along the river, then on into Zimbabwe and the Victoria Falls. Stay at the lodge for a restaurant dinner.
Victoria Falls in spate	Day 9 Options galore! A half or full day’s white water rafting on the Zambezi River, or canoeing or walking trails on the Upper Zambezi. Or bungee jumping, afternoon river cruises, flights over the Falls in a fixed-wing aircraft or microlight - or simply explore the falls at your leisure before an optional relaxing barbecue in the colourful Boma restaurant. Day 10 Breakfast, pack up transfers to the airport and return to Johannesburg.

Victoria Falls - Maun
Day 1 Fly in from Johannesburg International Airport to Victoria Falls Airport. Transport to the lodge, where you spend your first night under an African sky.
Day 2 Options galore! A half or full day’s white water rafting on the Zambezi River, or canoeing or walking trails on the Upper Zambezi. Or bungee jumping, afternoon river cruises, flights over the falls in a fixed wing aircraft or microlight - or simply explore the falls at your leisure before a relaxing barbecue in the colourful Boma restaurant.
Day 3 Drive west into Botswana and arrive at the Chobe River. Afternoon game drive along the river before setting up at the Serondela camp by the river bank.

Day 4 Game drive along the Chobe River then head south towards the Savuti Marsh and the Savuti Camp.	Day 5 Game drive through the marshlands of Savuti and back to camp.
Roadside stop in Savuti	Day 6 Head south from Savuti Marsh to Chobe Game Reserve to camp. Afternoon game drive. Day 7 Drive south towards the Moremi Wildlife Reserve north gate. Afternoon game drive and boat cruise up the Okavango River, then camp inside Moremi. Day 8 Dawn game drive through Moremi, on to the Xakanaxa Lagoons and late afternoon game drive then return to camp.
Day 9 Drive from Moremi to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango, then relax at the lodge before an optional afternoon game flight.	Day 10 Breakfast, pack up and return to Johannesburg.
